# User Accounts and Personal Collections

The Census database offers a User Account, which provides users with additional research tools. These include functions such as saving search results, creating individual collections, comparing records with each other, and creating slideshows from search results. 

You can easily access these tools and more by creating a User Account, which is free of charge. In this this section you can find out more about:
